    Kia India has finally announced the prices of the new 2026 Kia Seltos. The second generation Seltos brings a completely new design on the outside, a new interior layout with new-age features, and is also based on the new K3 platform. Booking of the new Seltos is already going on, its booking amount is Rs 25,000. Interested customers can book online or visit their nearest dealership. Prices for the SUV start at Rs 10.99 lakh and go up to Rs 19.99 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Compared to the outgoing model, the next-generation Seltos costs just Rs 20,000 more, which seems fair considering its refreshed design, additional features and overall improvements.

    The new Seltos competes with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Maruti Victoris, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hayrider, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and the recently launched Tata Sierra. In this article, let’s compare the new Seltos with the Hyundai Creta and Tata Sierra in terms of pricing, variants and engine options. 2026 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta vs Tata Sierra: VariantsFirst of all, if we compare the variants, the 2026 Kia Seltos has been offered with Tech Line, GT Line and X-Line trims. The Tech Line forms the core of the lineup with variants such as HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK(O), HTX and HTX(A). Sitting above them, the GT Line is offered in GTX and GTX(A) versions and adds a richer equipment list along with sportier styling cues. The X-Line package, featuring its darker, more aggressive aesthetic, is exclusive to GT Line trims.

    The new Sierra has been introduced in seven variants, namely – Smart Plus, Pure, Pure Plus, Adventure, Adventure Plus, Accomplished and Accomplished Plus. Hyundai Creta is offered in E, EX, EX(O), S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, SX(O) and King variants. 2026 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta vs Tata Sierra: Price Prices for the 2026 Kia Seltos start at Rs 10.99 lakh for the entry-level HTE NA petrol and go up to Rs 19.99 lakh for the turbo diesel with AT gearbox. Hyundai Creta is priced between Rs 10.7 lakh and Rs 20.2 lakh (ex-showroom). Talking about Sierra, prices range from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 21.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

    At the entry level, the 2026 Kia Seltos, priced at Rs 10.99 lakh, is Rs 29,000 more expensive than the Hyundai Creta (Rs 10.7 lakh), but Rs 50,000 cheaper than the Tata Sierra (Rs 11.49 lakh). At the top end, the Seltos, which is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh, is Rs 21,000 less than the Creta and significantly more affordable than the Sierra, which is priced Rs 1.30 lakh more at Rs 21.29 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).2026 Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Creta vs Tata Sierra: Engine options In terms of powertrain options, the new Sierra is offered with three engine options – a 1.5-litre Kryotec turbo diesel, producing 118 hp power and 280 Nm torque. The other two engines are the newly developed 1.5-litre NA petrol with 106 hp power and 145 Nm torque and the 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo petrol engine with 160 hp power and 260 Nm torque. Tata Motors has also confirmed that the company will soon launch an AWD model.The Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos get similar engine options, which include a 1.5-litre turbo petrol producing 160hp of power and 260 Nm of torque. 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, 115 PS power and 144 Nm torque. 1.5-litre turbo diesel, 116 PS power and 250 Nm torque. Gearbox options include 6-speed MT, iMT, CVT (dubbed iVT), 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT.
