Employee rewards are evolving in India, with companies opting for high-value, tangible incentives rather than simple bonuses. Now, a Chennai-based company has provided 12 Audi cars to its employees, reflecting the shift in corporate reward practices towards high-value, tangible incentives. Such initiatives, once limited to a few organizations, are now becoming common across sectors as companies focus on recognizing performance and retaining talent. The move reflects a broader trend to provide solid, aspirational benefits to long-serving and high-performing employees. The company behind this initiative, Refex Group, is a Chennai-based conglomerate with a diverse presence across sectors. The video has been shared by Unseen Chennai on Instagram, which went viral on social media. The visuals show a series of Audi A4 cars given to employees as part of the initiative. The company said the cars were not limited to senior executives only, but were provided to employees who have been a part of its journey over time. This initiative, called the “Wheel of Achievement”, aims to recognize long-term contribution and commitment.Visuals from the event show a fleet of identical Audi A4 sedans lined up, suggesting that all recipients were given the same model. The use of similar vehicles indicates a structured reward program, and the move has prompted discussion about the use of high-value incentives in employee recognition.
