    If you are planning to buy an entry-level sport tourer, there are several options available in the Indian market, including the KTM RC 200 and the Karizma XMR 210. These models fall in the same price bracket and here, let’s quickly take a look at how these two stack up against each other in terms of engine specs, hardware and more.

    KTM RC 200 vs Karizma XMR 210: Engine Specifications

    The KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. This motor produces 25 hp at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Hero Karizma XMR, on the other hand, comes with a slightly larger 210 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. The engine produces 25.5 hp at 9,250 rpm and 20.4 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, it is also mated to a 6-speed gearbox. On paper, the Karizma offers slightly higher power and torque output at lower engine speeds than the KTM.

    When it comes to hardware, the KTM RC 200 is built on a trellis tubular frame and features 43mm USD front forks and a rear monoshock that offers 10-step adjustability.

    In contrast, the Hero Karizma XMR uses a steel trellis frame. Suspension duties are handled by 37 mm telescopic front forks, while the rear gets a monoshock with six-stage preload adjustment.For braking, the KTM RC 200 has a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. It is equipped with dual-channel ABS. The Karizma XMR uses a 300 mm petal disc at the front and a 230 mm petal disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.

    In terms of price, the KTM RC 200 is listed at Rs 2.16 lakh, while the Hero Karizma XMR comes at Rs 1.85 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.
