Based on the latest waiting period chart, the Mahindra XUV 7XO has seen a wide variation in delivery timelines across different variants and powertrains. The AX variant has the longest waiting period, lasting 12 months for both petrol and diesel manual versions, while the automatic options are not currently listed. The petrol and diesel variants of the AX3 trim have a waiting period of around five months, regardless of whether buyers opt for manual or automatic gearboxes. Similarly, the AX5 also commands a waiting period of around five months for both fuel type and transmission options.
Leading the range, the AX7 offers quick delivery: the waiting period for petrol manual and automatic variants is around 4 weeks, while the waiting period for diesel manual and automatic variants is around 6 weeks. The AX7T has one of the shortest queues, as the drivetrain has a waiting period of up to four weeks for both petrol and diesel variants. At the top end, the waiting period for the petrol versions of the AX7 L variant is around four months, while the drivetrain options for the diesel variant have a waiting period of up to around six months. Design-wise, the overall silhouette remains the same, but the front and rear designs have been completely redesigned. It has a redesigned front grille with new C-shaped LED headlamps and also has new 7-shaped DRLs that wrap around the headlamp cluster, paired with trapezoidal LED lighting elements. It appears that parts of the overall design have been inspired by the recently introduced XEV 9S. From the side, apart from the newly styled alloy wheels, the silhouette closely mirrors the outgoing XUV700, while at the rear there is a full-width LED light bar and a reshaped bumper design.Inside, again, the interior of the new 7XO takes inspiration from the XEV 9S and features a beige-tan color scheme. The highlight of the cabin is a new triple-display layout that includes a fully digital driver cluster, a central touchscreen for infotainment and a separate screen for the front passenger, and like the XEV 9S here, it is offered as standard.
