Mercedes-Benz India has announced price revisions across its model range, with cars becoming more expensive from April 1. The luxury carmaker said prices across its portfolio of sedans, SUVs and electric vehicles sold in the country will increase by about 2 percent. The upcoming amendment will be applicable to the brand’s entire lineup in India. This will be the second price increase by the company in 2026, after earlier this year in January the prices were increased by about 2 percent. However, model-wise price changes have not been revealed yet.According to the company, this decision has been taken due to rising input costs and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. The devaluation of the Indian Rupee against the Euro has increased the cost of importing components and fully manufactured units. Like many global carmakers operating in India, Mercedes-Benz depends on many imported parts, making its pricing sensitive to currency movements.
The brand currently offers a wide range of vehicles in the Indian market. Its SUV lineup includes models like the Mercedes-Benz GLA, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Mercedes-Benz GLS and the iconic Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
Mercedes-Benz is also expanding its electric vehicle lineup in India. The range currently includes models such as the Mercedes-Benz EQA, Mercedes-Benz EQB, Mercedes-Benz EQE and Mercedes-Benz EQS, as well as the recently introduced electric version of the G-Class. Apart from its standard luxury lineup, Mercedes-Benz offers several high-performance AMG models and ultra-luxury Maybach vehicles in India. Currently, the most affordable model in the brand’s portfolio is the A-Class sedan, which is priced at Rs 44.45 lakh, ex-showroom.
