    Nissan India has finally launched the new Nissan Gravit MPV in the Indian market. Based on the facelifted Renault Triber, it features some Nissan-specific styling changes and is aimed at buyers who want an affordable, practical three-row option. Interested customers can book the new Gravitas online or at their nearest dealership. Deliveries are expected to begin soon. In this article, let’s compare the new Nissan Gravitas with the Renault Triber in terms of price, variants, specs and more.

    Nissan Gravitas vs Renault Triber: Variant, Price The new Nissan Gravit is offered in five variants – Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Launch Edition, priced between Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). Triber is also offered in four variants – Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion priced between Rs 5.76 lakh and Rs 8.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The Nissan Gravit is offered in five variants including the Launch Edition, while the Renault Triber comes in four variants. The Nissan Gravit is priced Rs 11,000 less than the Triber at the entry level, but Rs 33,000 more at the top end.

    Nissan Gravitas vs Renault Triber: Warranty, color optionsThe new Nissan Gravit will be offered with a standard warranty of 3 years/1 lakh kilometres, which can be extended to a segment-best 10 years/2 lakh kilometres. The first 5,000 customers will also be eligible for zero service cost for the first five years. Triber, on the other hand, gets a warranty of 3 years/1 lakh kilometres, which can be extended up to 7 years/1.5 lakh kilometres. Nissan is also offering finance options through Nissan Finance starting at 5.55% ROI.Renault Triber is offered in six color options – Amber Terracotta, Shadow Grey, Ice Cool White, Zanskar Blue, Moonlight Silver and Stealth Black. Gravitas will be available in 5 color options, Forest Green, Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Storm White, Metallic Grey.

    Nissan Gravitas vs Renault Triber: DimensionsBoth the Triber and Gravitas are built on the same CMF-A+ platform and share the same core dimensions, with only minor changes in overall length due to differences in bumper design. The Triber measures 3,990 mm in length, 1,739 mm in width, 1,643 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,636 mm. Ground clearance is 182 mm and it rides on 15-inch styled wheels.     Nissan Gravitas vs Renault Triber: Features Inside, the Gravit and Triber have the same layout with minor changes, with differences limited to the color scheme and select trim elements. Both are offered in a 5+2 seating configuration and both models come with LED DRLs, projector headlights, fog lamps, dual-tone wheel covers, auto-fold ORVMs, a driver’s seat armrest, driver’s seat height adjustment, a cooled lower glove box, push button start, two tweeters, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a rear camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, includes a third row. 12V socket, auto headlights with follow me home function, auto wipers, cruise control, a rear defogger and front parking sensors. The Nissan Gravit additionally gets a Launch Edition trim that gets features like a JBL sound system, a dual-channel dashcam, ambient lighting, a cabin air purifier and more.On the safety front, both cars get six airbags as standard along with TPMS, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, ABS and hill start assist.
