Ola Electric has announced a massive price cut for its flagship electric motorcycle, the Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh, making it significantly more accessible to buyers. The price of this model has now reduced from Rs 1,89,999 to Rs 1,29,999, i.e. a reduction of Rs 60,000.This drop in price has come after the company has increased the production of its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell. However, there is a catch. With the new pricing, the company is moving away from regular open sales to a limited buying window model. This means that the motorcycle will be available only during specific time slots and in restricted quantities. The first such window is scheduled for April 3 between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, with more windows to be announced depending on production availability.The Roadster
In March, Ola Electric recorded over 150 percent MoM growth in registrations, reaching 10,117 units. Daily orders also crossed 1,000 units in the last week of the month.The 9.1 kWh variant supports a 1000W portable charger, which takes about 8.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80 percent. Its top speed is 125 kmph and it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds. Riders get a 4.3-inch color LCD display with three modes: Sport, Normal and Eco. On the safety front, it has a front disc and rear drum setup with single-channel ABS.
