BMW Motorrad has launched the BMW F 450 GS in India. The motorcycle has been introduced in three variants. Prices start at Rs 4.70 lakh for the base variant, go up to Rs 4.90 lakh for the Exclusive, and go up to Rs 5.30 lakh for the top-spec GS Trophy, all prices ex-showroom. Here are some of the key features and differences between the three variants.
BMW F 450 GS: Features and differences between variants
The base variant serves as the entry point but is still well equipped. It features a 6.5-inch TFT display with BMW’s rotary controller, which lets riders navigate the menus with ease. Hot grips are also offered. Other standard features include ABS Pro, traction control, dynamic braking control, adjustable brake and clutch levers and engine drag torque control. This variant is available in a single Cosmic Black color option. These trims get three riding modes: Road, Rain and Enduro.
Moving forward, the Exclusive variant builds on the base trim by adding more touring and off-road focused equipment. It gets an engine guard, knuckle guards and a tall clear windscreen. It also introduces a fourth riding mode (Enduro Pro) and a quickshifter. Enduro footpegs are also available in it. At the top is the GS Trophy Edition, which includes all the features of the Exclusive trim and adds more premium hardware. It comes with adjustable suspension, easy ride clutch, aluminum engine guard and tinted rally-style windscreen. Visually, it features a white main frame, white knuckle guards and BMW’s signature tricolor paint scheme.Stay connected to TOI Auto for latest updates on the automotive sector and follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and Xpress.
