Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition Launch: Only 85 Units Available |

Jeep India has launched the Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition to celebrate 85 years of the SUV brand. Based on the Premium Overland Edition, the special edition will be produced in a limited quantity of only 85 units for the Indian market. Prices start at Rs 36.05 lakh, ex-showroom, while the updated Jeep Meridian range with the newly introduced CARA AI voice assistant now starts at Rs 30.45 lakh, ex-showroom. The anniversary edition gets several cosmetic upgrades to differentiate it from the standard SUV. On the outside, it features special 85th anniversary styling elements along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin adopts an all-black theme complemented by exclusive Mayan gold accents and contrast detailing. Buyers can further personalize the SUV through the optional 85th Anniversary AXS package, which includes accessories such as carpeted floor mats, anniversary decals, ambient lighting and Sky Lounge sunroof illumination. A major highlight of the special edition is the introduction of CARA AI, Stellantis’ intelligent voice assistant on Meridian. The system supports natural voice conversations and can handle functions such as navigation, weather updates, reminders, phone calls, music playback, trivia questions and selected vehicle controls. Jeep says the assistant supports 52 languages, including several Indian languages, to make the in-car experience more intuitive. Mechanically, the Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition remains unchanged. It is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, with customers able to choose between two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. The limited edition model is available for booking at authorized Jeep dealerships across India as well as on the company’s official website.
