Royal Enfield has officially announced the 22nd edition of the Himalayan Odyssey. Marking the company’s 125th anniversary celebrations, the 2026 edition of the ride will be its biggest yet, featuring four different ride formats across the Himalayan region. Registrations for the ride are now open through the official Royal Enfield website.

For the first time, the Himalayan Odyssey has been divided into four different routes, allowing riders to choose the experience based on their riding style and thrill level. The routes include Himalayan Odyssey Original, Explore, Nubra Circuit and Kargil Circuit. The ride takes participants over some of the toughest and steepest motorable roads in the world, including areas in Ladakh, Zanskar and Himachal Pradesh.The main Himalayan Odyssey core route will take place from June 25 to July 10, 2026. It is a traditional 16-day expedition that starts and ends in Chandigarh.
The second format is called Himalayan Odyssey Explore and will run from June 26 to July 5, 2026. This version is for more experienced riders who prefer a raw and free riding experience. Participants will carry their own gear and ride with limited support while tackling difficult routes and remote areas.
Royal Enfield has also introduced Nubra Circuit and Kargil Circuit for 2026. Both these rides will start from Leh and run from June 29 to July 5, 2026. These shorter routes are designed for riders who want to experience the culture, landscape and heritage of the Himalayas without a full expedition. According to the company, these circuits focus not only on rides but also on exploring local stories, communities and history.
