India Yamaha Motor has increased the prices of its popular R15 motorcycle line-up in India, making the entry-level supersport slightly more expensive across all variants. The latest revision applies to the entire range including the Yamaha R15S, Yamaha R15 V4 and the top-spec Yamaha R15M. The updated prices have come into effect from May 2026.Prices across the entire range have increased by Rs 4,900. After the revision, the R15 line-up now starts at Rs 1.56 lakh, ex-showroom, for the R15S, while the R15 V4 range is priced between Rs 1.71 lakh to Rs 1.76 lakh, depending on the variant. The flagship R15M is now priced between Rs 1.86 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh, ex-showroom, while the White Metallic C becomes the most expensive model in the range at Rs 1,96,100.Despite the growth, the R15 remains one of the most popular motorcycles in the entry-level performance segment.
Mechanically, no changes have been made to the motorcycle. The R15 range continues with the same 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). This motor produces around 18.1 bhp and 14.2 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Features like assist and slipper clutch are also available in the bike, while quickshifter is available in select variants.
