Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition Launched: Limited to 30 Units!

Mini India has finally launched the new Mini Cooper S GP-inspired edition in the Indian market, priced at Rs 58.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Pre-booking is already going on. Interested customers can book the car exclusively at their nearest Mini dealership. The new Mini Cooper S GP-inspired edition will be limited to only 30 units, and deliveries will begin this month. The Mini Cooper S GP-inspired version is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204hp and 300Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The hatch accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 242 kmph.In terms of design, the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition gets ‘Legend Grey’ exterior with ‘Chili Red’ roof and dual-tone finish with ORVMs. The model also features GP-inspired decals on the sides, while the C-pillar features each car’s individual unit number to mark its limited-run status. Based on the JCW pack, the version retains sport-oriented design elements such as revised bumpers, a rear spoiler, a black rear diffuser, a centrally located exhaust outlet and black alloy wheels. Red highlights on the bumpers, side sills and wheel center caps distinguish it from the standard JCW Pack-equipped Cooper S.

The special edition carries the red and gray stripe theme from the bonnet to the sides, complemented by ‘GP Inspired’ graphics. The ‘1 of 30’ badge on the C-pillar highlights its limited production. Exterior updates also include 18-inch JCW alloy wheels with red center caps, a roof-mounted spoiler, side winglets and a revised rear diffuser. The model also gets customizable daytime running lamps and LED tail-lamps with dedicated welcome and goodbye lighting patterns.On the inside, the cabin shares many of the features of the JCW Pack version. The dashboard gets a black finish with red accents, while the JCW steering wheel adds a sportier touch. Recycled woven fabric has been used on the dashboard and door panels. The JCW Sport seats are finished in Veskin black upholstery with red contrast stitching, while ‘GP Inspired’ branding appears on the door sills. The floor mats also include ‘1 of 30’ badging to reinforce the exclusivity of the edition. Talking about the features, it has a 9.4-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with features like panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting and connected car technology. Other equipment includes a Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, a head-up display, and over-the-air software update capability. It also gets a heated steering wheel and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function. Safety features include Level 1 ADAS, electronic stability control, and a rearview camera, plus several driver assistance and passenger safety systems.
