Royal Enfield has started deliveries of its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Bengaluru. Priced at Rs 2.79 lakh, ex-showroom, the Flying Flea C6 is also available under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, bringing the initial purchase price down to Rs 1.99 lakh.

Powering the Flying Flea C6 is a 3.91 kWh battery pack mated to a permanent magnet synchronous motor that produces 20.65 hp and 60 Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield claims that the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 115 kmph.The company has stated an IDC-certified riding range of 154 km on full charge. It rides on 19-inch wheels wrapped in narrow 90-section tires and has a lightweight construction.In terms of equipment, the electric motorcycle is loaded with features like a 3.5-inch circular color TFT display, five riding modes, adjustable regenerative braking, lean-sensitive traction control and dual-channel ABS. To support customers, Royal Enfield has set up a dedicated hub-and-spoke service network across Bengaluru.
