July 2026 is going to be a busy month for the Indian automotive industry, with several new car launches and unveilings scheduled across multiple segments. Additionally, many manufacturers are likely to introduce special editions and refreshed versions of existing products in preparation for the festive season in the coming months. In this article, let’s take a look at the launches and unveiling of the upcoming cars in July 2026.skoda kodiak Rs.The Skoda Kodiaq RS is the first car on the list and is expected to be launched in the coming days. The limited-run performance SUV soon attracted keen interest from enthusiasts across the country. And all 50 units allotted for India were sold out in just six minutes of bookings opening. With all 50 units now sold out, it remains to be seen whether Skoda Auto India will allocate additional units of the Kodiaq RS for the Indian market.

Skoda will import the performance SUV as a completely built unit (CBU) and it is expected to be priced between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Skoda Kodiaq RS will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 265hp and 400Nm of torque. Compared to the regular Kodiaq, the RS makes an additional 60hp and 80Nm of torque. Notably, the engine has been tuned to be identical to the unit powering the Octavia RS and Golf GTI. It comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which supplies power to all four wheels.2026 Renault KwidThe next car on the list is the new 2026 Renault Kwid, which will be launched in the Indian market tomorrow. Exterior changes are likely to include redesigned front and rear bumpers as well as a new set of alloy wheels. Renault has not yet revealed cabin updates, although the hatchback is expected to get revised upholstery and some new features. The mechanical package is likely to remain unchanged, with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continuing to produce 67bhp and 91Nm. Buyers are expected to have the option of a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT, while dealer-fitted CNG kits are also likely to remain on offer.Nissan tecton Next is the Nissan Tecton, which will make its global debut on July 9, 2026. At the front, the new Nissan Tecton SUV features a wide front grille with a red horizontal stripe around it and an illuminated Nissan logo in the centre. The SUV also features a full-width LED DRL signature attached to the headlamp units, which consist of L-shaped lighting elements. Other exterior highlights include a sculpted bonnet with prominent character lines, a central hood scoop and Tecton badging.

At the rear, the SUV will feature a roof-mounted spoiler, raked windscreen, C-shaped connected tail lamps and a large bumper. Dimensionally, the size of the SUV is expected to be similar to the new Renault Duster, measuring 4,345 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, 1,703 mm in height and 2,657 mm in wheelbase.The Tecton is expected to share its engine options with the new Duster. The 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine produces 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The second engine is a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed DCT or a 6-speed manual. There is also a larger 1.8-litre strong hybrid petrol engine with 109 hp, paired with a 49hp electric motor and a 20hp Hybrid Starter Generator (HSG), paired with a 1.4kWh (280V) battery. Together, this configuration delivers a combined system output of 160hp and 172Nm. We still don’t know which engine option will be offered with the new Tecton. Maruti suzuki brezza new look Next is the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift, which is expected to be launched sometime this month. Design-wise, the overall shape of the car remains unchanged; The upcoming version may introduce noticeable modifications in its styling and equipment. The latest spy shots capture the rear of the SUV. The facelifted model will have a redesigned front bumper and a refreshed grille. Similar cosmetic changes are expected at the rear as well. Interestingly, despite the growing trend of connected tail lamps in new SUVs, the updated Brezza is not expected to adopt this design element, as per the recent spy image. Other exterior highlights may include newly styled 16-inch alloy wheels, sleek LED headlamps with DRLs, roof rails and an integrated rear spoiler.On the mechanical side, the 2026 Brezza is expected to get minor suspension changes, and a recent test mule was spotted with a 6-speed manual gearbox, suggesting that Maruti Suzuki may introduce an additional gear compared to the current setup. The purpose of this change is probably to improve the gear ratio for smoother highway travel. While there is speculation about the possibility of the 1.0-litre three-cylinder BoosterJet turbo-petrol engine from the Maruti Suzuki Suzuki Brezza coming to the Brezza, there has been no official confirmation yet.Honda ZR-V Next is Honda ZR-V. Pre-booking of Honda ZR-V is going on. Interested customers can book the SUV online or by visiting their nearest dealership. Pricing is expected to be announced sometime this month. This SUV will be purchased in India through the CBU route. This will push its price into a higher range due to import duties and related costs. The price of this SUV is likely to be around Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, it competes with the Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Nissan X-Trail and others.Talking about powertrain, the ZR-V will be offered with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with dual electric motors. The strong hybrid engine produces 184hp of power and 315Nm of combined torque. It is paired with an e-CVT automatic gearbox, which sends power to the front wheels. Honda says that the ZR-V can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 8 seconds. It has an electronically limited top speed of 172kph and a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.79kpl. In global markets, the ZR-V gets an all-wheel-drive (AWD) and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.Design-wise, the ZR-V has a crossover-like design with clean surfaces. At the front, it features a large grille and wide LED headlamps, which are neatly integrated into the fascia to provide a restrained yet noticeable appearance. In profile, the SUV appears lower than the regular models, with a sloping roofline and long wheelbase, making it closer to a raised hatchback than a traditional long SUV.new mg suvNext up is a new SUV from JSW MG Motor India. It is expected that the company will launch Wuling Starlight 560. A design patent for the model was filed in India in March. The SUV measures 4,745 mm in length, has three rows of seating for seven people, and features LED headlamps, LED tail-lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it gets a dual-tone cabin, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a six-speaker audio system, a 50W wireless phone charger and a panoramic sunroof.Internationally, the Starlight 560 is sold with plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains. The PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a front-mounted electric motor and a 20.5kWh battery, producing 195hp and 230Nm, and a claimed range of over 1,000km. The EV version uses a 69.2kWh battery and a front-mounted 201hp motor, delivering a claimed CLTC range of 530km. It is not clear which variant will be offered in India.
