Hyundai Motor India has increased the prices of select Venue variants, with the diesel model seeing the biggest increase. The increases range from Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,000, depending on the variant. The modification is limited to specific trims rather than the entire lineup. The petrol variants have seen minimal changes, with the diesel variants, as mentioned earlier, seeing most of the increase, increasing the prices of the entry and mid-level options.Talking about the variants, the Venue is offered in petrol trims HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX8 and HX10, while the diesel variants will be offered as HX2, HX5, HX5 Plus, HX7 and HX10. The Venue is offered in three engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel engine, producing 116 hp, 250 Nm of torque and paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. A 6-speed manual gearbox is also introduced in it. Apart from the diesel, other variants of the Venue are also offered with a 1.2-litre, NA petrol engine with 88 hp, 114 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 120 hp and 172 Nm. Gearbox options include manual or 7-speed DCT. The Venue N-Line is offered with only one engine option – 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol engine, producing 120 PS power and 172 Nm torque. Gearbox options include 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.Starting with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine option. The biggest increase is in the HX5 trim, which now costs Rs 20,000 more than before – the steepest increase in the entire range. Please note that this increase does not extend to the rest of the line-up with the same engine. The entry-level HX2 and slightly higher-end HX6T will continue at their current prices.
