KTM has expanded its India lineup by introducing new 350cc versions of the KTM 390 Duke and KTM 390 Adventure, making these motorcycles more affordable. The move allows the brand to take advantage of the lower 18 percent GST bracket for sub-350 cc bikes and reach a wider group of buyers. Competition in this segment is likely to increase due to lower prices. Recently, brands like Triumph and Bajaj have also followed the same approach by bringing smaller capacity versions of their 400cc motorcycles. The newly introduced 350cc variants are priced at Rs 2,77,268 for the Duke and Rs 2,80,905 for the Adventure (both ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes them around Rs 62,000 more affordable than their respective 399cc counterparts. Importantly, the existing models including the 390 Duke R, 390 Adventure X, S and R will continue to be sold with these new variants without any changes.KTM 390 Duke, Adventure: Engine Specifications Powering both the motorcycles is a 350cc engine that produces 41.5 hp and 33.5 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox with slipper and assist clutch. Despite the reduced displacement, KTM has retained the core performance character of these motorcycles, with only minor differences in output (4.5 hp and 5.5 Nm less) compared to the larger engine versions.
In terms of design and hardware, both the bikes remain largely unchanged. The Duke continues with its fast, aggressive streetfighter styling, while the Adventure carries forward its robust design inspired by larger models like the KTM 890 Adventure and KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
