Design-wise, the new Bajaj Chetak C25 has minor cosmetic changes. The front apron has been redesigned which gives a clean look to the scooter. The turn indicators have been shifted from the apron to the handlebar and the horseshoe-shaped headlamp remains, around which an LED daytime running light is neatly integrated. At the rear, the scooter now gets a redesigned taillamp with a horizontal layout, moving away from the earlier split-style arrangement. The seat has also been reworked and is now flatter, measuring 650 mm in length and 763 mm in seat height. The C2501 is offered in six color options – green, white, black, grey, red and yellow. Talking about the features, it gets an LCD instrument display, key-based ignition, a twin-sided swingarm, an open glovebox with LED lighting all around, 25 liters of under-seat storage, reverse assist, Bluetooth connectivity with music playback and a USB charging port.Speaking at the launch, Eric Voss, President – Urbanite Business, Bajaj Auto Limited, said, “The Chetak C25 reflects a clear shift in the way urban mobility is used today – shorter journeys, tighter roads and the growing need for independent movement. While its form factor is compact and contemporary, the basics are clearly the same as the Chetak: solidity, robustness and reliability. The C25 allows us to expand the Chetak portfolio to a younger, more agile use case, as well as providing It is the trust and confidence that this brand has endured for generations.“
