Fresh spy shots of the upcoming Hyundai Exeter facelift have surfaced online, this time from Hyundai’s home market South Korea. The micro SUV has been undergoing testing for quite some time now, and was also spotted on Indian roads last month, hinting that the launch may be around the corner.

Hyundai Exeter facelift: what to expect

The latest test mule appears to be a lower-spec version running on 14-inch steel wheels. It is largely hidden, but some design details are visible. The front fascia appears to have a revised grille and a new bumper. The split headlamp setup with distinctive H-shaped LED daytime running lights has been retained. At the rear, the facelifted model is expected to get a redesigned tailgate, refreshed tail-lamps and a new bumper. Interestingly, the test vehicle spotted abroad does not have roof rails. The cabin layout is likely to remain largely the same. However, Hyundai may also offer a larger touchscreen infotainment system in addition to some convenience features.

Under the hood, the Exeter facelift is likely to continue with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or AMT. The factory-fitted CNG option is also expected to be retained.Reports suggest that Hyundai may launch the updated Exeter in the first half of 2026. The timing is notable, especially after the recent arrival of the facelifted Tata Punch, one of its key rivals in the segment.Stay connected to TOI Auto for latest updates on the automotive sector and follow us on our social media handles on Facebook, Instagram and Xpress.
