Kawasaki India has announced new offers on the Versys-X 300, making its entry-level adventure touring motorcycle more affordable. The company is offering cash discounts on both the MY25 and MY26 versions as well as complimentary accessories worth up to Rs 46,000 for a limited period.As part of the latest scheme, the MY25 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is available with a cash discount of Rs 35,000, bringing its effective ex-showroom price down to Rs 3.14 lakh. Buyers opting for the MY26 model can avail a discount of Rs 10,000, taking its effective ex-showroom price to Rs 3.39 lakh. Apart from the price cut, customers can also choose a set of panniers or center stand, both priced at Rs 46,000, that too at no extra cost. Offers will be valid till 31st July.The Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is also equipped with assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle has a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel with spoke rims and tube-type tyres. The suspension duties are handled by long-travel telescopic front forks at the front and a Uni Track monoshock at the rear, allowing the bike to comfortably handle highways as well as uneven road surfaces.Unlike many motorcycles in the adventure touring segment, the Versys-X 300 keeps its feature list relatively simple. It does not offer electronic rider aids such as ride modes, traction control or Bluetooth connectivity. Its equipment list includes dual-channel ABS, a semi-digital instrument cluster, long-travel suspension and an assist and slipper clutch.In the Indian market, Kawasaki Versys-X 300 competes with KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
