The Kia Cyros EV has now been spotted undisguised ahead of its expected debut later this month. Recent images circulating online reveal a production-ready model without any camouflage. Here’s a quick look at the details we can expect from the upcoming electric SUV.From the outside, the Syros EV looks almost identical to the petrol-powered Syros. It retains the same upright stance, lighting elements and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the electric version gets a thinner front grille, slightly modified bumper and a charging port on the front left fender. The cabin is also expected to closely mirror the standard Scirosa. The spy photos give a glimpse of the dual-tone interior with the same dual-screen setup and a two-tone three-spoke steering wheel. The Kia infotainment system is likely to add EV-specific graphics and software while keeping the overall dashboard layout unchanged. Feature-wise, the Ciros EV is expected to offer a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, and a premium audio system. Safety equipment is likely to include six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system and ADAS.Although Kia has not officially confirmed powertrain details, the Sciros EV is expected to share its electric underpinnings with the globally sold Hyundai Inster EV. If this happens, the SUV may be offered with 42 kWh and 49 kWh battery pack options. In international markets, the Inster EV claims a driving range of up to 369 km.
