Tata Motors has launched the updated Tata Punch EV, which is the first major change since its launch. The refreshed model includes design updates, revised battery options and an expanded feature list. It is offered with two battery packs: a 30 kWh unit for the lower variants and a 40 kWh LFP battery for the higher trims. Fast charging delivers a 20-80 percent charge in about 26 minutes, while a 15-minute charge can add about 135 km of range. Starting ex-showroom prices start at Rs 9.69 lakh. The model is also available with Battery-as-a-Service option, where the vehicle price starts at Rs 6.49 lakh and the battery usage charge is Rs 2.6 per kilometre.

Punch EV Battery Options: Lifetime HV Battery Warranty
The Punch EV comes with a 40 kWh battery pack with Lifetime HV Battery Warranty exclusively applicable. Its charging goes fast from 20% to 80% in about 26 minutes. It can cover a distance of up to 135 kilometers after charging for 15 minutes. Tata’s new Punch comes with six airbags, ESP and other essential features.

Tata Punch SUV EV: Pricing and BaaS ownership options
- The starting ex-showroom price of Punch EV starts at Rs 9.69 lakh for the Smart MR variant.
- Smart+ MR is priced at Rs 10.89 lakh with 40kWh and Rs 10.29 lakh with 30kWh.
- The Adventure LR variant with 40kWh is available for Rs 11.59 lakh.
- Empowered with 40 kWh, the ex-showroom price is Rs. 12.29 lakh
- Empowered +S with 40 kWh is priced at Rs 12.59 lakh.
An optional battery-as-a-service (BaaS) model has also been introduced to reduce upfront costs. Under this scheme, the price of the vehicle starts at Rs 6.49 lakh excluding battery cost.
