Toyota Kirloskar Motor is stepping into India’s growing anime and pop-culture sector with a new partnership. The carmaker has announced its collaboration with Animation Express for Anime India 2026, a multi-city event series focused on anime, manga, gaming and Japanese pop culture.
Toyota in Anime India 2026: Venue and Dates
The first event under this partnership will take place on 6th and 7th June at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The Delhi edition of Anime India 2026 will feature a J-pop concert by Yurika and the India debut of popular Japanese voice actor Inoue Kazuhiko, best known as the voice behind Naruto’s Kakashi.
Toyota at Anime India 2026: Models on display
As part of the event, Toyota will be showcasing three models at dedicated stalls: Urban Cruiser Hyderabadi, Toyota Glanza and Urban Cruiser Taser. Interestingly, all three vehicles will get a special wrap inspired by the globally popular anime series ‘Attack on Titan’.
Toyota at Anime India 2026: What to Expect
The company’s flagship display featuring the urban cruiser Hayrider will host a number of engagement activities for visitors including quiz competitions, stamp rallies and spin-the-wheel games. Anime India has rapidly emerged as one of the largest ticketed anime conventions in the country. According to organizers, the previous two editions had collectively attracted more than 60,000 Gen Z participants.
