Toyota Kirloskar Motor has officially announced the price of all-electric urban cruiser Abella E3 in India at Rs 23.60 lakh, ex-showroom. The urban cruiser Abela is the top-spec variant in the E3 lineup and is powered by a 61 kWh battery pack with a front-mounted electric motor. While Toyota has only announced prices for the E3 variant at the moment, prices for the lower E1 and E2 variants are expected to be revealed later.

This setup produces 128kW, equivalent to approximately 174 bhp, along with 193 Nm of torque. Toyota claims that the electric SUV can provide a driving range of up to 543 km on full charge. Charging options include both AC and DC fast charging support. Toyota also claims that the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 45 minutes using a DC fast charger. Inside the cabin, the Abella features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster as well as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other key features include ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 color options, sliding and reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof and a JBL premium sound system.The company is also focusing heavily on ownership support for EV buyers. Toyota also said at the time of the unveiling that it will offer an eight-year battery warranty with battery-as-a-service option, assured buyback program and finance plans for customers. The brand claims that buyers will be assured of 60 percent buyback value after three years.The urban cruiser Abella will be offered in five monotone and four dual-tone color options.
