    The electric scooter sector in India is continuously growing as manufacturers focus on larger battery packs, greater range and feature-packed offerings. The latest entrant in this fight is the TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh, which has now entered the market as a rival to the popular Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh variant. Here’s how these two models stack up against each other.

    TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Battery and range

    The TVS iQube S gets a larger 4.7 kWh battery pack instead of the earlier 3.5 kWh version. In comparison, the Ola S1 Pro uses a slightly smaller 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. Despite the smaller battery, Ola claims a higher IDC range of up to 242 km, while the TVS iQube S offers an IDC-certified range of 175 km on a single charge. The charging time between the two is relatively close. TVS claims that the iQube S can charge from 0 to 80 percent in four hours using a portable charger. Ola S1 Pro takes approximately 6.5 hours to fully charge at home.

    Ola S1 Pro is powered by a mid-drive motor that produces around 14.5 hp. It can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in approximately 2.6 to 2.7 seconds and its top speed is claimed to be between 125 kmph. Meanwhile, the TVS iQube S produces 5.9 hp and 33 Nm of torque. The scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.3 seconds and its top speed is 82 kmph.

    TVS iQube 4.7 kWh vs Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh: Features

    Both scooters are full of technology features. TVS iQube S gets a TFT display with smartphone connectivity, navigation support, ride statistics, reverse mode, crash alert, fall alert and anti-theft notification. The Ola comes with a large 7-inch touchscreen running MoovOS along with features like cruise control, OTA updates, proximity lock/unlock and multiple ride modes including Eco, Normal, Sport and Hyper.

    The TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh is available in new colors including Magnificence Purple Beige, Harlequin Blue Beige and Titanium Gray Matte. Ola S1 Pro is available in colors like Midnight Blue, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black and Stellar Blue.

    Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of the new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh is Rs 1,37,142. Ola S1 Pro 4 kWh is priced at Rs 1.34 lakh, ex-showroom, depending on the variant and offers.
