Yamaha Motor India has announced a voluntary recall for its 125 cc hybrid scooter range in India, which includes the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid. The recall has been issued due to a possible issue related to the front brake system.According to the company, scooters manufactured between May 2, 2024 and September 3, 2025 are covered under this recall campaign. Yamaha has identified that the front brake caliper in some scooters may exhibit limited braking performance under specific operating conditions, which may compromise braking effectiveness.Yamaha has said that customer safety remains its top priority and has urged owners of the affected scooters to visit their nearest authorized Yamaha dealership. The company will replace the affected parts free of charge under this recall. The replacement procedure will be performed only at authorized Yamaha service centers.
